Jonas gives gabrail a memory. Jonas lies to his parents.

He thinks they don’t like him. They said said that they do enjoy him but he doesn’t think so. He thinks they might be lying to him because he got a rule that told him he could lie so maybe their jobs told them they could lie.

    2. Jonas isn’t supposed to talk about his training with other people but he gave Gabe his memories to soothe him and he tried to describe the color red to his family and he told someone about warfare. 
    3. He distrusts his family and friends because they have never felt fare or pain in their lives. I don’t think that it is fair because it isn’t Jonas’s fault that people in their society don’t feel.

  • It is so dangerous because the community doesn’t know love and you might get released for it. 
  • Some symbols of rebellion is when Jonas tries to tell his family what love is and when he also gives memories to Gabe so he is not following his orders. 
  • He begins to distrust his family and friends because they don’t believe in what he is saying about love and colors and animals and all of the other stuff, so they think he is weird and doesn’t like him as much anymore.
