While on country visit, I connect to "Dadirri, Inner Deep Listening & Quiet Still Awareness by Miriam-Rose Ungunmerr, which underlines on caring and respecting to the land we live on.(MiriamRoseFoundation, 2017). During country visit, I engage all my senses to the nature, I noticed the tree swaying side to side in the wind, smell of flowers, heard bird chirping and I noticed other non-human elements in the space like airplane, car, and dog barking. My lessons are given children opportunities to explore in nature play. This practice aligns with the aboriginal perspectives of respecting the place and nature through sound, stillness and presence.

1. Invite the children to sit together and let them use their senses to guess what is inside the bag.

2. let the children to explore how the material can make sound.

3. Gather the group to share the different sounds they have created and let them share with the group what they have made.

Some children were pulling the leave from the tree instead of collecting the ones already on the ground. I will encourage children to care for the environment by role modelling respectful practices how we can take care of the plant for example watering plant.

The video of silent storytelling has been inspired me storytelling using body movement narrate a deep storyline. Watching the interpreter made me realise children also visual learner beside sound it and be able to build their understanding through action, facial expression and feeling.
