Baptism is the spiritiual cleansing of the body, using holy water. Some interesting facts are people are often baptised as a baby, or a small child. Christening happens, too. Christening is when they name the baby after a saint, in hopes the newborn will adopt that sanint's charactaristics.  Godparents are also required to attend. A godparent is a backup parent for the regular parents. Also, not all christians do it And, this is done as a sign of devotion to god. Here is a video.

Marriage

Marriage is the uniting of two people, usually male and female. When this happens, the bride (female) and the groom (male) exchange vows, rings, and a kiss. The bride typically has a veil, a peice of cloth to cover the brides face. The bride also wears a long white dress, and the groom wears a traditional suit and tie. After the wedding, the is usually a reception, or party, to celebrate the bride and groom. Traditional items include cake with a bride and groom figurine. Holy matrimony is also practiced.Holy matrimony is a phrase used by Christians to describe marriage. See also Christian views of marriage.

Death

Death is when one spiritually and physically passes from this world. After death, one either goes to purgatory, hell, or heaven. Heaven is like the definition, but is an actual place*, not describing a place. Hell is, again, like the definition, but again, is an actual place.* Purgatory is sort of like the waiting area in a hospital, but instead of getting diagnosed with a condition, you are being cleansed. Also, something called anointing the sick is also practiced. This is when you ask someone to ask for forgiveness for you. A wake is a social gathering associated with death, usually held before a funeral. Traditionally, a wake takes place in the house of the deceased with the body present; however, modern wakes are often performed at a funeral home or another convenient location.
