         <title>Generally weak as a level. Coupled with the fluid situation, the Ls lack the time and opportunity to gear themselves for the WAs. Weak words recognition is highlighted many times. Interesting language games were introduced to inject love for learning. P1 teachers took the initiative to come up with resources to close the identified learning gap, however due to pandemic disruption, teachers did not have enough time to close the gap with the designed resources. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ls may need support at entry level in P1 if we take into consideration zero/little foundation in MT. We need coach them in basics (phonics, pronunciation, sight words) in the first few months before moving on to engage them in the topics found in the curriculum. Only after they have mastered the basics in reading, they are able to appreciate the lessons better. Therefore, small group coaching is essential. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Many at risks children needs motivation and close monitoring. Suggestion: Gamification to motivate Ls. Teachers working closely with parents to monitor Ls progress.&nbsp;<br>CUBS strategy is widely used across the department for the P2 level.&nbsp;<br>Most of the at risk Ls have a few common traits, not speaking the MT language at home, lack the positive learning attitude in class.&nbsp;<br>Due to pandemic, Teachers could not leverage on the class seating arrangement by pairing a stronger with a weaker Ls together regardless of their form class. <br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Some Lasallians did not maximise their potential when sitting for the paper.&nbsp;<br><br>Story mountain (SM) strategy used in ML class with FAST &amp; 5W1H already incorporated. SM will continue to be used in P5 to help ensure there's structure.&nbsp;<br><br>Essential for Lasallians to "unpack" the different levels of questioning in comprehension (Bloom's Taxonomy) when they go to P5. Extended from KLRA.&nbsp;<br><br>To work on dialogue writing &amp; adding in of proverbs in compo to enhance compo.&nbsp;<br><br>For oral, will get Lasallians to do vlogging for HBL assignments (during assigned HBL periods) to boost confidence in delivering speech. </div>]]></description>
