Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you. You’ve been such an encourager and inspiration—not just in words, but in the way you live and love the Word. It’s so clear how much it means to you, and that kind of genuine love is contagious. As is your service to the Favor family. Standing next to you on a Sunday to greet the people and seeing them warmly smile back at you and greet you is testament to this.

In theology class, your humility, sharp mind, and big heart really made an impact and I always looked forward to every class - even if we never made it past slide five haha!

You brought light, depth, and warmth to every session, and it made such a difference. You’ve shown all of us what it looks like to walk with both grace and truth and I’m excited for Anna to experience this also.

You said you were grateful for your time at Favor being  “one last lap,” and if it is I pray it’s a long one and as so often with God may it be He has saved the best till last.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you and honor you for everything you’re doing for God. You’ve poured out your gifts in teaching, studying, and breaking down the Word in such a simple, relatable way. Because of that, I’ve grown so much in my love for God—and in turn, my love for people. You’ve opened my eyes to a whole new perspective of who God is, and I thank Him for your life.

Thank you for all the podcasts, books, YouTube videos, and classes you’ve dug into, then shared with us in ways that make it so easy to grasp. Your gift of teaching has inspired me to believe bigger and see God in a much greater way.

You’re like a loving dad to everyone. On 3/27/25, you gave me something not only to keep, but to deeply reflect on. You’ve inspired me with your authenticity. Happy birthday! I’m deeply grateful for your life and the way you’ve been one of the best guides in my journey of learning theology. Coming from a different upbringing and religion, it was hard for me at first to fully grasp the theology of Christianity—but I truly wanted to learn. You made it not only easier to understand, but also more meaningful, because you taught me to see beyond head knowledge and focus on the heart—always trusting that God is working all things for good.

Thank you for giving me a clear overview of the Bible and for patiently answering my questions, even after class. Thank you for being so understanding, for walking in so much grace, and for being a light in the way you teach and live. I’m so blessed by the knowledge you’ve imparted and by the example of humility and faith you show.

First off, I just want to say how much I loved attending your class, so much that I braved a storm just to be in the room. It's such a blessing and an answered prayer to have such a passionate teacher grace Batch 5 with all your quotable quotes, moments of laughter, crying, and so much more! (we know we're your favorite, don't worry we won't tell the other batches)

One moment that stood out to me the whole year is during our preaching class on Term 4, where I didn't know how to contain my nerves while doing my preaching; but you were the one who dismissed that and even told me that I reminded you of you when you were younger, and that was such an honor to hear. But I do hope that I do reach your level of passion when you do teach, since I do also love pouring out to others and can sometimes geek out especially when talking about things that I love.

I'm so excited for your upcoming book that you're writing, and I can honestly say that it'll impact millions; especially how you've impacted my life, the previous batches lives, and to everyone you meet too.

Just like I always share in Grow, you’re one of the main reasons (bukod kay Lord, syempre) why I decided to plant myself in Favor. Yung mga lengthy conclusions mo sa Build classes — yun na talaga ang deal breaker! Alam mo yung tipong tapos na yung slide pero hindi pa tapos yung kwento mo? Classic Tito Rocky. 😂

Pero more than that, it’s through you that I found my healing… lalo na sa mga Thursday classes natin na intro slide pa lang, 1 hour na agad. Oh, how I miss that! Parang kulang ang linggo pag wala kang TED Talk.

I came to Favor hurt, wounded, and untrusting. Pero dahil sa’yo, unti-unti kong na-peel off yung layers na ginamit ko to protect myself. Thank you for being a father to us — yung warmth at yakap mo every time you see me, parang instant reminder na mahal ako ni Lord. At syempre, bonus na yung libre mong “Let's go E!” on the side.

Love ka namin, Tito Rocky. Love kita! I pray I get to be with you for a very long time (at marinig lahat ng kwento mo na walang PowerPoint limit). You are God’s gift to me… to all of us.

So blessed to witness not only your passion for learning and teaching, but also your calm in-between moments that says so much about how you value each and every opportunity to impart something to others.

I still remember your story about the wedding that you and Tita Wina attended and how you simply stayed with other guests to make them feel welcome. Instead of talking about your Bible knowledge and trying to evangelize to them, you simply showed friendship and love…that made an impact on me and something that I will always remember.

I learned a lot during our classes and will miss it so much! Sorry I didn’t get to ask questions (our class already had a lot!). I thoroughly enjoyed just listening to you answer them.

I also love how genuine and real you are with your relationship with Tita Wina. I look forward to serving more with you during Before Forever!
