Discrimination against minorities has always been a part of American history, and the recent rise in Islamophobia shows that this discrimination is still an ongoing problem.  Americans have always been seen as opportunities for people from all over the world to seek freedom, from freedom to improve their lives, freedom to live an honest life or live without political persecution but opportunities are not available to everyone, they are not accepted just because of their background.  ethnicity or religion, race even if coming from a different country.  And recently we have recently with the government issued a travel ban. Muslim Americans have also been discriminated against in America, there are screams of discrimination in America that are stinging to life, so many minorities.  So one of the reasons why being discriminated against still exists in America is because of ignorance not everyone knows everything about every group of people and that's okay but when we don't know a certain group of people we are more receptive and ready to accept stereotypes about them. So people  America and Muslims are still being discriminated against in America and not only Muslims but so many other minorities are being discriminated against, well for that, America is a huge multicultural land where people from all walks of life can see each other and meet and even break their stereotypes around.  one another.  And if you feel uncomfortable around Muslim Americans or a group of people just having a conversation with them, open yourself up to learn about them from their culture and daily life and you learn new things and maybe break your stereotypes about Muslim Americans and other minorities and  by doing so we can make America a more diverse and receptive place.

From this video I realize the importance of mutual respect, regardless of religion, country, race etc. The problem I face while listening to this video is that there are some words that I don't know the meaning of, so I go to the dictionary or translation site several times to find the meaning of vocabulary.  the word.  And also I repeated it several times to watch this video to better understand the contents of the video.

Discrimination against minorities and American Muslims has always been in American history.  In fact, so many other minorities are discriminated against in America.  From Americans who cannot accept differences, be it religion, race, country and others.  They should be able to know a lot about a certain group of people if they don't want to accept stereotypes about them.  And open ourselves to learn about them from their daily lives, their culture, and this can break stereotypes around American Muslims and other miniorotas.
