Even though it wasn't apart of my project I also decided to volunteer at the mile square park snack bar. The snack bar helps raise money towards the kids in sports.

I was only able to pass out 4 donuts at the beach successfully. I Ended up giving the rest of the box to a homeless guy.

With a little help of coffee at the snack bar I helped a total of 40 people and got 10 tips that I gave to the snack bar. It was a fun experience.

The reflection I have on this project was incredible. I loved volunteering and helping my community. It was fun, especially with friend when I picked up trash at the beach and passed out donuts. I didn’t have any obstacles but I did have a learning experience. I regret not doing a more challenging community service project only because I felt like I didn't really help as much as I could have. Even though it seemed that day I was doing back to back community service from volunteering at the snack bar to giving out donuts to also picking up trash, the main plan was to only pick up trash at the beach originally but decided at the last minute to volunteer at the snack bar . Honestly I'm extremely glad I did more than just pick up trash at the beach. I'm disappointed that I didn't do more. I will be volunteering more of my time towards the community because of the great experience and the feeling of achievement I had. I will challenge myself to do more challenging things to help my community, but overall this project was great and I had fun doing the right thing for my community.

The plan was to go to the beach with my friend Hayden around 2:45 after he got out of work. He and the two other people in his group were also going to go with us. I had time to kill and ended you volunteering at the mile square park at the snack bar that helps fun kids in sports. I helped 40 people in serving food to kids and adults from 10 - 2:30. Also when Hayden picked me up I decided to get donuts to pass out at the beach to people and the homeless. I helped donate to kids and helped with the pollution at the beach by picking up trash and also the homeless feeding some of them.

I didn’t really need to plan day by day for this community service project. I told my mom a week before and three days before following through with my community service project I got trash bags for picking up trash at the beach and my mom the day of provided me with money for getting donuts. My mom is the one that gave me the idea for passing out donuts, My dad gave me a ride in the morning to the snack bar at mile square. I also hard to communicate consistently with my friend Hayden to make sure he can for sure get me to pick up trash at the beach.

Two connections that I have learned this year from the social issues we talked about in class are poverty , hunger, and polluting. When we read the book about William windmill it made me realize how bad some places in the world really have it. I saw the hunger from the homeless sleeping at the beach and staying there. Polluting is also another connection I made from the social issues we talked about in class and why the community needs to be more aware of the fact we need to take care of our community and the world better. From me picking up trash to me passing out food and also volunteering at the snack bar made me consider volunteering more especially with the connections i made from what i've learned this year in the class.
