2) With ROBLOX being confined to people who are 18+, this can allow for people to make connections, and potentially start new relationships with people all around the world. As people are over 18, they would be more emotionally stable and have a more intelligent mindset on their mental minds as they had time to be able to develop their brains.

3) Restricting ROBLOX to a more mature fan base can stop children from spending too much money on parent's accounts, having them be overcharged for something they did not mean to buy. According to [parents together.org], recent data shows that some young children would go into extreme measures to obtain "robux". Upon further inspection on the article, the text mentions that "72-year-old Steve Cumming made what he thought was a one-time payment of $5.65 when his daughter downloaded ROBLOX-A month later, he found over $5,000 had been charged to his account for thousands of in-app purchases. . . Maria Vasquez found her 9-year-old son Thenniel had spent $1,162.32 on in-app purchases in games including ROBLOX."

4) There would be more interesting content added for ROBLOX users who are above the age of 18. These might be more mature topics to discuss, the inclusion of more violent games, and even the advancement in "adult hangout games." With ROBLOX being limited to 18+ users, ROBLOX would not feel as pressured to envelop an environment where games have to have restricted rights to protect the younger fan base, if the younger fan base was removed.

2) With most of the ROBLOX population consisting of children, having an age limit would decrease ROBLOX's paying revenue. This is because parents might buy their child robux, such as a birthday gift for example. ROBLOX is the in-game currency you pay for using real-life money to obtain benefits in the game.

3) With the removal of the app to children and young adults, there might be a mass removal of ROBLOX games as well. The reasoning behind this is because young developers might possibly code games, and they get added to the ROBLOX streaming wall recommendations. However, if ROBLOX restricts accounts to being 18+, these accounts may get deactivated, and their games would be branded as "[Content Deleted]." This would mean that time spent on the game is lost forever, and people who maintained progress on these games would forever lose everything.

4) Furthermore to ROBLOX possibly deactivating accounts / prohibiting app-usage of accounts younger than 18, it would cause huge outrage among the crowds. People might've had a lot of progress on a game, or spent real-life money on their accounts. There might be violent protests against ROBLOX for these reasons from upset children and upset parents. There might also be the possibility of ROBLOX being sued in court.

• ROBLOX does not care about their younger fanbase and instead blames it on the parents

• ROBLOX doesn't protect the children on this platform, and instead ignores all the millions of predators and unfit games online

• ROBLOX normalizes mature behavior that should not be copied by children and repeated

• ROBLOX players can cyber=bully and mess with people's minds

• Because of people on the platform, Dr. thought this was regular behavior, and already having a messed up mind, proceeds to register with a sex offence.

• The son has given the predator their address as the predator manipulated and gaslighted the son into doing so.

• Many parents have already lost their children to people online targeting them.

• ROBLOX is inappropriate for kids with all of the weird players in the fanbase, along with games that shouldn't be created.

• Predators lying about their ages online to make "friends" with children these ages.

• People can convince younger kids to go to certain addresses to "meet their friend online".

• Predators are learning what kid's behaviors are and are using it to their advantage.

If we remove players below 18+, you will lose a large amount of income. This is because statistics from backlinko.com shows that 58% of ROBLOX players consist of teenagers and young adults. Removing this population percentage would mean losing out on a ton of money, as people below the age of 18 are more prone to spreading money on games, such as getting their parents to buy them robux for their birthday. Another idea to consider is that if the idea of 18+ users only is implemented, it might spark an outrage with the crowd. Many accounts would be lost or removed, meaning losing the existence of all hard work and progress made on an account. This could possibly cause upset protests against ROBLOX corporate squares and lawsuits made against ROBLOX.

Some people who believe ROBLOX should be limited to 18+ users might argue that there are ROBLOX predators preying on children on the platform. While this is true, why should we punish the children on this platform? Instead, one idea we should try out is separate ROBLOX platforms for younger children. Some benefits to this idea is that it would cause predators to stay away from the younger fanbase. Adults wouldn’t be abusing kids on the website, either. However, while this does not prevent older kids from bullying younger children online, adding a more functional report button should suffice.

With all things considered, this is why ROBLOX should not be limited to 18+ users, and instead should be separated into 2 different sections. If ROBLOX is split into 2 different platforms, it could prove to be beneficial in the long run.
