It sounds like an interesting book about a man's journey and his contributions to the people of Sudan. I wonder what Sylva felt when he got seperated from his family because of the war. I hope that more people will act and help improve the people of the country of Sudan's lives. I think that it sounds like a touching book from the way it is portrayed in the videos and I hope to see other people's comments. This book will be very enlightening to me and I can't wait! I have read the book The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind, which is about starving people in Malawi. I really enjoyed that book, and I think this book will be similar. I own A Long Walk To To Water, and I try really hard to not read that book, because it looks so exciting. My sister and I once did a fundraiser for Ugandan students by holding a concert. We donated more than 5,000 dollars for textbooks and school uniforms. It made me so happy to donate and it made me so happy that people are helping others get water, as well. Another thing my sister and I did, was bring supplies to homeless shelters, like socks and sleeping bags. I love books that are true stories, because learning is great. This book reminds me a little of a National Geographic article I read once, about how the people in Africa had to walk hours to get water.
