He was born in Pereira in 1969. He studied Avertising but his profession is cartooner. His cartoons has appeared in the most important newspaper and magazines in the country. He's got a major in Plastic Arts at the
National University. He is well-known for his nickname Matador.

His nickname comes from the idea of killing people laughing and the Fabulosos Cadilacs' song. He says "He is putting on the pants of the reader that check the fist pages and find news above the war, taxes, violence to children. That depress a lot, but is you arrive to the cartoons you can manage a smile, you have achieved the objective"

Althought he discover his talent for drawing at age 4 he did not
want to study fine art. He wanted to be a succesful publicist but in 1995 he change his mind again when drew his firts cartoons and they were accepted by the readers. His favorites characters to
draw are the presidents Santos, Uribe and Pastrana among others.

When I read his cartoons I can understand how driving policy in
Colombia and who are the main actors. Also I feel good when I see his cartoons becouse he put a funny and sarcastic touch to all the bad news that happen in our country.
