         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>Learning Menu: There are options laid out in a menu style. For example, an appetizer for this lesson could provide the students a choice of listening to an audio of the text or reading with a partner.  Each "course" would provide the students with options/choices through the process of completing the assignment. </p></li><li><p>Think-Tac-Toe is what is pictured above. The students will choose three activities to complete. Their choices must form a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal).</p></li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>Student Collected Vocabulary Lists: Students can choose 3 words from the text and provide definitions for them. They can do so by making flashcards for each word with the word on the front and the definition on the back. </p></li><li><p>Writing from Student Interests: Students can choose words from the provided vocab list and create sentences or stories with those words. They have the freedom to write about whatever they want as long as they focus on the context of the word. </p><p><br/></p></li></ol>]]></description>

They can sit under their desk, on top of their desks, on the carpet, next to the window, or wherever they feel they can be the most successful. </p></li><li><p>More sound/Less sound: playing focus music softly in the background of the room. Providing headphones for students who want a more quiet environment. </p></li></ol>]]></description>
