I have selected this course because of my passion for Art. For as long as I can remember, I have been drawing and/or painting, and more recently been working with textiles, and I have always been eager to pursue this as a career. I believe that this course can lead me on the right path to my goal of studying art at a higher education level. I find the subject areas of the course to be very intriguing, such as painting, textiles, and printmaking, and I am keen to explore these in an academic environment, and breach my comfort zone in terms of working with different art mediums. In the next five years, I hope to be studying Art and Design at Stirling University, with a view to a career in either comic art or fashion design.
