In doing so, he seeks for the insecurities and doubts in people. Iago is a very likable character despite being deceptive and misogynistic because he murdered Emilia. He often prevented Othello from enjoying his marriage because he constantly expressed his love for him.

William Shakespeare was born on April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom, to wealthy parents, John and Mary Shakespeare. He was the first of 8 children, and one of 5 who survived till adulthood. The wealth he was born in brought a lot of opportunities; William's dad became his town's bailiff (essentially a major) when he was only five, to talk to his family's prominence. With such a high-class upbringing, Shakespeare was sent to school (only available to wealthy families during this era), where he went through a curriculum consisting of Latin classics, the humanities, where he attained his ability to write impactful plays that stole the hearts of the masses in his later years.

In his life, Shakespeare wrote 37 plays, and 154 sonnets. He knew his market and was able to achieve great success not only from his writing, but also through his great money management and excellent investments in property. His company, which was personally funded by King James I, allowed him to be one of the first full time writers. It also afforded him his own theatre to put on his plays. When the theatre's closed due to the plague Shakespeare shifted his focus to writing sonnets that could be more easily consumed by the public. This allowed his writing to live on during the death of the plague.
