The person who intends to convey the message with the intention of passing information and ideas to others is known as sender or communicator.

This is the subject matter of the communication. This may be an opinion, attitude, feelings, views, orders, or suggestions. 

Since the subject matter of communication is theoretical and intangible, its further passing requires use of certain symbols such as words, actions or pictures etc. Conversion of subject matter into these symbols is the process of encoding. 

The person who is interested in communicating has to choose the channel for sending the required information, ideas etc. This information is transmitted to the receiver through certain channels which may be either formal or informal. 

Receiver is the person who receives the message or for whom the message is meant for. It is the receiver who tries to understand the message in the best possible manner in achieving the desired objectives. 

The person who receives the message or symbol from the communicator tries to convert the same in such a way so that he may extract its meaning to his complete understanding. 

Feedback is the process of ensuring that the receiver has received the message and understood in the same sense as sender meant it. 

In this video, a man (SENDER) is talking to the viewers (RECEIVER) on how to stop a crying baby (EXTERNAL NOISE). He then puts the baby inside a room and put on a headphone (MEDIUM). This video is very short, simple and straight forward (CONCISENESS). But, it is also lacking in consideration and courtesy. 

 

The audience, on the other hand, is listening to him well throughout the whole talk. Although, some are seen to be looking down and playing with their phones. Some are doing work and recording themselves like me and my friends did earlier for another subject. This shows bad non-verbal signals to the speaker. There are some students who left halfway throughout the talk. This shows that those students have lost interest in the speaker’s talk. 

 

1. Group structure used is more towards wheel structure where there is a leader in a group . For example, because of her popularness and has most connection with others, Regina George is the leader of the group.

2. Types of small group is relational-oriented where the original plastic is based on interpersonal connections for instance it is more to social status and wealth. They want to look good all the time.

3. Small group development : 

        1. Forming : The  group ( regina, gretchen and Karen )  have been formed since high school.

        2. Storming : Karen and Gretchen ir afraid of regina , so no storming occurred

        3. Norming : as a group, rules are set by Regina and being followed by the rest of the group in doing work. 

        4. Performing : The dress the same where all wear pink

        5. Adjourning : 

        6. Group conflict : Interpersonal conflict. Where it occurs when Gretchen make the word “fetch” a thing.

·         Group Conflict: They start to become a better person as they realise that they being fake towards each other.

·         Group Conflict: Gretchen had decide who’s the person who she should friend with.

- To distract the viewers from their daily lives by watching a comedy lip syn battle performs by Channing Tantum where he lip syncs as Elsa from Frozen.
