Poem- Grasshopper and the cricket.
The poem is describing about the nature. It says that grasshopper is appearing in the summer season when every body is resting inside their house,it says that grasshopper is singing and.............Then when the winter season is coming the cricket is coming and sings.they say that grasshopper is the sign for summer and cricket is the sign for winter.

IT IS A POEM ABOUT TOM KRAUSE WHO THOUGHT HE WAS THE BEST IN BASKETBALL AND HIS FRIENDS USED TO PRAISE HIM. ONE DAY CAME A MAN WHO WAS BETTER THAN HIM. HE WAS IN PRESSURE AND HE WAS NERVOUS. HE STARTED TO LOSE AND BLAME HIS TEAMMATES , COACH AND THE REFEREE. HE SAW HIS FACE IN THE MIRROR AND REALIZED IT WAS HIS MISTAKE. HE TRIED HARDER AND BECAME GOOD AT BASKETBALL. The theme of the poem “Just Me” by Tom Krause is about the excelling in life and not possess ego because of it. The poem is about the development of being a player and a person too. The poem tells about the player that who do not have ego or pressure. He says that such players cannot excel in their sport. In order to excel and be good at any sport, the player needs to erase pressure in his mind. One should not erase the ego by erasing pressure. Once the pressure is erased, the efforts can be seen in the performance of the players.

In the starting of the story the Remarkable Rocket is very over-confident then slowly slowly his confidence decreases as his rocket couldn't fly as when he was crying the gun-powder got spoilt.
I felt the story was really intresting and i liked how they have showed that over confidence of person fails and lets them down.

The intresting part is that how much a single boast or show off can waste your opportunity
This story shows that we should not have overconfidence because it can ruin the things you are living for. Eg. The rocket is living to fly and show it is magnificent spectre of colours to evrybody watching but the rocket in the story could not do that properly.

Reading the story has helped me realize that over-confidence always leads to downfall. We must always stay humble and true to ourself and the people around us. We should try to be grateful for the little things in life. We should have a self esteem but we mustn’t become overconfident or else in would lead to our defeat.

If I had written the story I would direct the middle and end towards a more positive plot. I would construct the ending in such a way that the rocket would realize his mistake and he would apologize as well. Then instead of being thrown out he would be used on the New Years when he would be all dry and ready to thrive into the air
