On The morning sun, the picture is more brillance than Automat, the color are more vivid. One of them takes place on the morning and other takes place on the night. The first picture introduce a city while in the second picture it's a House. But in the twice picture, nobody is represented, it's sad, deserted. House by the railroad is more brightness than Approaching the City.
In the twice paintings, there is darkness in the bottom.

There is a chiaroscuro and there is colourless. The paintings not are elaborated because it's a cityscape ( a house and a railroad). Hopper paint the dull life of american people (train work and sleep). In the painting there is a lot of details (windows ans railroads). In the House by the railroad there is a vanishing line in form of triangle like in approaching the city. In the foregroung of the  two paintings there is railroad for show the time passing.

The two painting are realistics. People look sad and alone, in his painting hopper shows loneliness. On this paintings there is a contrast between the hot and vivid colours, yellow, orange and red of the cityscape and the cold colours of the characters. The characters are on the foreground that makes a focus on them. The luminosity is from the right to the left. People are always representing in a bar. on both pictures there is 4 characters.

There are warm colors (orange, red, brown, black and yellow) in New York Movie but there are cold colors (blue, white, yellow and dull colors)  in Two on the aisle. We feel sympathy for theses women who seems to wait for someone. The theme of the paintings speaks of the art of the stage. Two on the Aisle seems more luxurious than New York Movie. Two on the Aisle seems more empty than New York Movie. On the two paintings there are on the left chairs and at the right of the painting there is woman alone.

the perspective is always going on the right side of the picture .
the two pictures are moving because the two girls are sad and we are sad.
