Blossom lives with her two aunts, one uncle, two cousins, her only sister, and her mother, but she doesn’t have a father. Since Blossom was a small cub, Mustard seed (her mother) told her that her father died from being hit by a car.
 Over time, Blossom begins to question the story her mother told her and grows darker and more savage as time passes on, her temper is short, and she doesn’t feel at home in Freemans Pasture. One day she ventures to the edge of her family's territory, which is an old mossy stone wall. She feels drawn to the other side and convinces herself to climb over. On the other side of the wall is an open, barren view of the moors. She soon meets up with the Moorland badgers and finally meets her father, named Macbeth. My narrative art is centered around finding your identity and the type of people you choose to belong with.

The backstory to my picture relates back to the book or movie “ the boy in the striped pajamas.” It portrays the themes of despair and hope in the same picture. Behind the gate, there is a child who is trapped behind the gate. In front of the gate, there is a child who is safe and free. The child behind the gate portrays the theme of being ‘trapped’. He is trapped behind the gate, imprisoned by the Nazis, and not free. Whereas the child in front of the gate is privileged and free to do whatever he wants. The 1593 battle of Nareusan beating the Burmese ruler on elephant-back in Thailand (part of my origin). A representation on how elephants were used as war instruments during war in Thailand. The meaning behind this artwork is to illustrate old Thai traditions through a 2-scene story. This is so people can get to know more about different cultures in an eye perceiving way.

STORY:
While 2 ladies are working in the rice fields to support the country agriculturally, a man is riding on elephant back to support his country in the war. They both are doing 2 different things to support Thailand showcased in different scenes. 'Reconciliation'
I created this piece that you can see which shows a hand on the top and a darker hand on the bottom, these hands represent an attempt at reconciliation between the Aboriginal people and the English settlers. I have made this artwork because the way that these people were treated by the English ancestors was inhumane and quite horrible and the efforts made at reconciliation don’t even scratch the surface for the amount of apologies that they deserve. So this art piece is meant to display maybe one small little step towards that reconciliation ideal.
