One of the most difficult things is to keep them interested and focused on the task. They love playing games but when they do not have a game they keep asking about when are we playing something.

Also, sometimes I think that finding an engaging topic/subject for them can be difficult. As now I'm giving a speaking workshop for very young kids (ages 5-7) and they just want to talk about animals, but we can't continue talking about that; it's been 3 weeks and we have to change subjects now. :(

Also, parents can be a BIG distractor for them. They tend to whisper things and answers to the kids and that is very annoying.

They feel that something is boring or understandable if they can't understand it since the beginning. They feel desperate if something takes time. Sometimes I feel that they want all the knowledge ready to be eaten and then they may feel discouraged if they make mistakes.

What I have experienced some issues with students while working on some tasks is sometimes writing their own answers or speaking about it, because they are mainly A1, A2 Ss and are lacking vocabulary, so sometimes they do get frustrated and don´t want to try anymore, therefore, it´s a bit difficult keeping them motivated, at the end, everything works out just well but it has become an ongoing scenario.
