How many people have used homeopathic remedies at least once in their lifetime?

When did it happen?

When I was seven years old, I sneezed when I went to school because classroom were unclean. Also, every day I felt weak and short of breath. So, my mother was worried about me. For that reason, I went to the doctor who has a degree on alternative medicine. She was excellent because she treated my sneezing and healing me. Was it magic? Of course not, it was homeopathy.

Homeopathy is a complete system of medical theory and practice of a form of alternative medicine. It was created in the 18th century by Samuel Hannemann in Germany.

The theory behind homeopathy, patients symptoms are treated with remedies that cause similar symptoms. Homeopaths make their medicines by taking the ingredients adding water and shaking the mixture However, other scientists say that homeopathy does not work and only makes people think they feel better.

Homeopathy was created when traditional medicine did not work very well because patients avoided taking drugs as they made them sicker. Homeopathy founders knowing this, decided to create natural drugs that could be more effective to treat some diseases.

In my opinion, homeopathic is a compliment for treating some common illnesses like nauseous, fever, and vomit, sneezing. But, you need conventional medicine for other diseases like cancer, AIDS, etc.

To summarize, homeopathic remedies are an acceptable alternative to treat illness and sometimes it isn´t necessary to take antibiotics. Nevertheless, if you are in a critical situation, you should consult a conventional doctor.
