This is one constant I see across the gifted students I have been working with for the past 5 years.
-Heidi]]> 2018-01-14 22:00:14 UTC https://padlet.com/weberhe/m4jk328usag5/wish/221306088 pniese3300 https://padlet.com/weberhe/m4jk328usag5/wish/221314819 In my opinion, gifted students are students who demonstrate the capacity for learning at an accelerated rate and/or at a deeper level.  The giftedness can be shown in a variety of areas, and does not preclude anyone from having difficulties in other areas.  Giftedness does not equate to achievement or grades, but the capacity to think differently either faster or deeper than seen by typical students.
