Visual codes- set in a dark room- normally associate the bedroom as a safe place but in this case it is a place of fear and isolation.
Iconography- laptop( technology) associated with bullying.
Lighting- dark lighting creates tension and a sinister approach. It creates an unpredictable atmosphere.
Sound-  diegetic- distressed reactions from the girl- screams and noises shows fear. Non-diegetic- low key sound creates tension, atmospheric and speeds up when something bad is going to happen, it makes the audience feel on edge.
Audience theory- Surveillance- to gain information about online websites and the effects of cyberbullying. Audience- 6-12 year old.
Visual codes- Animated photos reflects the target audience, they will relate to cartoon pictures and understand things better with the use of cartoons. Set in a bedroom- safe place turns in to a place of fear.
Four narratives- Jacks story, Emily's story, Shannon's story and Zoella's story. The purpose of the stories is to tell the audience about there own personal experiences of bullying.
Audience theory- personal identity- people can relate to the stories if they have been bullied before. Surveillance- to gain information on how to get help if your being bullied.
