Because her apartment has a dinning hall so we could cook together and also enjoy our foods together. Before the dinner, I went to Victoria Market with Alex and Francis to buy some foods for our dinner. It’s the first time for me to went to Victoria Market. There were so many people and the Market was full of vegetable traders barking. We bought some fresh vegetables , chicken wings and beef. The good’s prices were much cheaper than that in the supermarkets and we only cost about 20 dollars. After that, we went to Alex’s apartment and begin to prepare the foods. We washed the chicken wings and beef then sauced them with cooking wines , soy sauce and old pumping because it takes time. Soon afterward, Aurora arrived Monica and Aurora made some delicious desserts for us. After a break, we began to cook our dinner. Alex cooked the chicken wings firstly. It’s a really famous dish in China called Coke Chicken Wings. It used braised practice which is cooking something with cooking wine, soy sauce and old pumping. But finally, we should pour cola into the pot and boil the chicken wings for 7 to 10 minutes in order to thicken the sauce. This dish became the most popular one in our dinner. All of us cooked one dishes one by one. Then, the most enjoyable time came. Each dish was delicious and we chatted , laughed during the dinner time. We also talked about the differences between Southdown China and Northern China. For example, most famous dishes in Northern China are made by meet while the dishes in Southdown China are made by various kinds of food like seafood ,fruit. I also made some new friends and learned some new cooking skills through this activities.
