The students "work together to create a digital project." They have penpals from around the world and each of them can contribute to the final project. It is filtered through the teacher, but the students are able to give feedback on what each other contributes. It is designed to start for students 8 years old, but you can set it at their learning level--so it doesn't leave out anyone. The cost for a school license is steep ($2400-3400) but it also indicates that it is free for teachers.
