It all started as a royal Banquet but as it was Macbeths' first feast as king he wanted to make it more grand with singing, music, dancing, juggling and acrobatics.
2. Suspiciously, it is reported by one of the Noblemen, Macbeth stood up and pushed his seat away, all of the noblemen, courtiers and Lady Macbeth stopped eating and looked at Macbeth's shocked and bewildered face as he was glaring at an empty seat then then the royal cook calmed that Macbeth was shouting at the seat and mumbling Banquos' name. 
3. Moments later Lady Macbeth tried to calm Macbeth. However, with all her valiant attempts to cover up the kings odd behaviour, guests were still left shocked and confused at the strange bahaveur.
