         <description><![CDATA[<div>It's interesting, I thought 5th graders were taught median, mode, and range.&nbsp; For the past several years, my students have come to 6th grade already knowing about median, mode, and range. &nbsp;<br>The state vertical alignment chart shows that 5th graders do not have any TEKS that cover median, mode, and range. &nbsp;<br>They do represent data in various graphs, but do not summarize that data with measures of center or measures of spread. </div>]]></description>
