Hexagonal map is a good technique for students to create a new viewpoint and connection between topics. First, teacher prepared hexagonal card with word on it which could be a historical event, a country name, or a group. Second step is mapping those hexagons with connections. Finally, invite students to talk about their thoughts. In conclusion, hexagonal map can be a very useful tool for students to understand the connection between the different events and areas.
