         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think we need to try harder to create a communicative feel<br>The group chat is helpful but it seems that eloped arnt that interested in getting to know new people and expand friendship groups or talk to new people<br>Also the education society committee do a lot of hard work to organise socials so some encouragement for people to come to those events even for those people would be great </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pros:<br>Most of my the seminars are engaging however&nbsp;<br>(Con)<br>I feel like there could be a much more beneficial and interesting use of the time that just reading the answers to the hw activities because there's never an expansion on what anyone says from the lecturer but at the moment we are all at the same knowledge stage. Last year when using hw as a starting proving for seminars I would leave feeling like I've learnt more from using it and this year feel like a bit of a poor learning use of the time as I leave with the exact same answers and knowledge I'd already entered with </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Obviously there was an issue in diss with the way a lecturer addressed the group and we received an email which I personally viewed as passive aggressive and accusatory despite appreciating that people leaving can be disheartening but quite frankly the 'independent' work in a completely uncontrolled and I cohesive environment of pesh students talking and complaining around me really wasn't that work friendly to begin with. And since the issue I have not been able to go to another diss lecture with that lecturer and will get to the door and see them and just have to turn right back around because I feel so uncomfortable and panicked. I really feel like the communication has been immensely negative and I don't want to speak about it in case I'm the only person still struggling and feeling affected by the outburst in case it's just a reflection of things I personally deal with and struggle with as an individual as it is but I know that I haven't been to a single of their lectures since because I cannot mentally put myself back in that potential environment and so it's definitely affecting my academics and I don't feel like I can email about it because the last response was so passive aggressive and shame shifting. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I feel like luckily and maybe it's because we are a smallish cohort that I feel I know of everyone and communicate with most people from seminars and lectures this year super happily and unfortunately just don't feel I have the time or feel academically unstressed enough to go to socials and drinking things in such small groups I'd much rather the uni kept their promise of a zoo trip with everyone first to then not feel a bit exposed going to such smaller social </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I really think EDU need to reconsider the importance of recording lectures. I have friends in other schools who have their lectures recorded, so I’m aware it’s down to the choice of the particular school. I completely understand that lecturers may fear that attendance will drop if lectures are recorded, but they need to consider the following factors…<br>• It can be really beneficial for students with SEND and SpLDs. Accessibility is a must (especially since this is literally something we address ourselves).<br>•Covid is still very much a thing. Why should someone be penalised for doing the right thing and self-isolating by not being able to access a lecture.&nbsp;<br>•One of the most useful things in previous years was going back to rewatch lectures during summative seasons. It’s going to be a big struggle without this.<br><br>Please reconsider. There’s so many benefits to recording lectures and I’m sure it would be a massive help to everyone.</div>]]></description>
