The group chat is helpful but it seems that eloped arnt that interested in getting to know new people and expand friendship groups or talk to new people

I feel like there could be a much more beneficial and interesting use of the time that just reading the answers to the hw activities because there's never an expansion on what anyone says from the lecturer but at the moment we are all at the same knowledge stage. And since the issue I have not been able to go to another diss lecture with that lecturer and will get to the door and see them and just have to turn right back around because I feel so uncomfortable and panicked. I have friends in other schools who have their lectures recorded, so I’m aware it’s down to the choice of the particular school. I completely understand that lecturers may fear that attendance will drop if lectures are recorded, but they need to consider the following factors…
• It can be really beneficial for students with SEND and SpLDs. Accessibility is a must (especially since this is literally something we address ourselves).
•Covid is still very much a thing. Why should someone be penalised for doing the right thing and self-isolating by not being able to access a lecture. 
•One of the most useful things in previous years was going back to rewatch lectures during summative seasons. It’s going to be a big struggle without this.
