we have a centralised store for consumables - wards can obtain ‘not so commonly used’ consumables for the central store (reduce the need to beg other wards)

Having a system for us to add laboratory blood test (don't need to call, maybe fax or click on system to add) - something like ordering from the food delivery app, the order status will be updated once the lab acknowledges the add)

Ground staff understand what is truly meaningful to patient care. Things that are done for ‘documentation’ purpose but does not significantly contribute to patient care, should be GROSS-ed out.

equipment should centralise and “belong” to BME instead of individual wards. That way, no need to check asset number and equipment every month/week/etc. No need to search and borrow a particular equipment from different wards (can just call BME). Attach RTLS tag so that BME can track location of equipments.

Surgical consent can be made digital where pt’s details can auto flow into consent

-surgeons tend to fill pt’s name wrongly (not exactly the same as in NRIC)/ write wrong NRIC number/illegible handwriting. when consent is rejected, have to locate Dr and pt again to refill consent form which is a major waste of time/extra work. making it digital can reduce chances of human error
