Two older sisters and a younger brother
My parents were pastor's as a child, and I spent a lot of quality time at church.
 Family gatherings are large because my mother's family lives in the tri-cities, and has nine siblings. 
Grandpa was awesome! and I've never been close to my grandmother.
My parents were not wealthy, but they tried their best to provide us with what they could at the time. 
My parents enjoyed trips with us like camping, fishing, theme parks, and more.
My parents cared to help others, and that is something that stayed in my heart. It could also be the reason why I want to do social work because I enjoy helping others.

I had a hard time learning when I was in middle school and high school because I was very timid and shy.
I had a lot of insecurities during this period of my life.
I learned piano and joined the choir at church.
I enjoyed youth group church services! 
I joined the Pasco High School girls basketball team. 
I graduated from Pasco High school in 2009. 
I got my license, and first job after high school.

Lost my grandpa in 2011
Got married, 2012
Gave birth to three children, two boys, and a girl. 
School became challenging because I couldn't keep up with three small children, work, and so I took a break from school.
 I worked as a caregiver for my father, who was suffering from thyroid cancer.
I lost my father in 2018, and it was a difficult time. 
I went back to school and received my Associate's Degree in the summer of 2020.
I've faced many challenges, but with the help of my family, community, and a supportive husband I've been able to overcome them.
Today I am a junior at Heritage University. I am trying to get my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, and a minor in Psychology.
