Hayden Mitchell Ponyboys experience in being in a gang isn’t bad because they all stand up for each other and look after eachother. Ana’s gang was more of a violent gang because she had to be jumped in, they did a lot of illegal stuff and they were taught to le but ponyboy’s experience they fess up for their crimes.

Nick Armstrong - 1.) Differences between Ana and Ponyboy's experience is that with Ana, she felt like he had to be in a gang because she thought she had to be safe. While Ponyboy joined the gang because it has some of his closest friends and family.

Liz Brandenberger- 1. Some differences are that in Ana's gang she could not leave, but in Pony boy's they wont get killed and they are not forced to stay. 2. The similarities are they grew up having each other back and seeing people getting beat up. 3. A teacher helps her realize that she can have a better future. Some similarities with them being in a gag are that ghey both want to leave the gangs or at least stop fighting so much. 3. Sydney Pegg: Question 1- The differences between the two story's is that Ponyboy isn't in as many bad situations, and Ponyboy could leave the gang and make a new life for himself. He also didn't have to go through a initiation ritual, the gang also accepts Ponyboy for who he is and lets him be his artsy creative self. Question 2- Some experiences that are the same from the two story's is that both of them have to do things that they don't want to do. And they are both forced to put on a tough skin. Question 3- Ana's 'ahh' moment was when she realized even though she was in a gang she could still be in school and create a meaningful future for herself. Ponyboys 'ahh' moment was when he realized that the Socs and the Greasers aren't that different. He states that "both Cherry and him see the same sunsets so they can't be that different."

Bryce McLeroy 1 think that ponyboy's experience is different than Ana's because ponyboy has no one else to run to for help he doesn't have any parents he only has is brothers and his friends. But Ana has her parents to go to and not just the gang members. 2 some similarities of pony and Ana are they both have gotten beaten up by other gangs they have both seen death front and center and they always stick up for the other gang members. 3 i think that ponyboy's aha moment was when him and randy had the talk in randy's car.

He realized that maybe Soc's aren't as bad as he thought and that they are not too different from the greasers.

1. Ponyboy would never rat anyone out because no one ratted him out, but Ana did the right yet betraying thing and told the truth. 2.They both thought if you weren't in a gang you won't fit in. 3.
