He was known as the "Father of Modern Child Psychology". This theories are still used in educational practices because it helps us determine whether a child is progress through these stages of growth correctly. By this I mean, these stages have helped us learn that children are all induvial, however there are stages they should be hitting by certain ages. If not, then we can work to help those students get the services they need.
