In this case, it was decided that parents had the right to choose the best learning environment for their children, including religious schools (Espinoza v. Montana Department of Revenue, 2020). This further allows parents to choose what they think will be the best education environment for their children to attend and receive the highest quality education. The events in my timeline also affect the students I work with currently. Some of the students we receive are transfer students because their parents were unsatisfied with the school that was in their attendance zone.
