Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects bygning til Det Kongelige Bibliotek også kaldet "den sorte diamant"
Biblioteket ligger i københavn på slotsholmen mellem Christiansborg slot og vandet. 

Bygningen består af en enkel sort kube, lavet af granit og glas. Der er ingen udsmykninger på bygningen udover vandets spejlinger i facaden. I denne periode begynder man også at arbejde mere med glas og stål som de primære materialer, hvor modernismens arkitekter primært arbejdede med beton.

Musikhuset Aarhus er Nordens største musikhus. Musikhuset har seks sale, ni scener og 35.000 m². Hvert år afholdes ca. 1500 arrangementer indenfor koncerter, dans, teater, musicals, klassisk musik, opera og comedy. Omkring 650.000 gæster besøger årligt Musikhuset.
Prisen for byggeriet var på 115 millioner kroner, som blev finansieret af Aarhus kommune.
