The maneuver took five seconds.”</p><br>Explanation: Ron Jones found a way to instruct and model discipline in the classroom effectively and efficiently while also simulating the discipline within Nazi Germany as a classroom History lesson. By using Strength Through Discipline as the focal point of his lesson, students could experience the lure of authoritarian structure and they dove in head first.<p></p>]]></description>

Here I was enacting an authoritarian learning environment and it seemed very productive.</span></p>Explanation: Mr.Jones had started practically an authoritarian system in his classroom as a way to see how the Nazi’s system had once worked. Then add two more until finally the whole class was standing and reciting. It was fun. The students began to look at each other and sense the power of belonging. Everyone was capable and equal.”</span></p>Explanation: Ron Jones began to notice as the students chanted their new motto that they each began to feel like no one was better than each other. Not only did they feel powerful as an individual, but they felt strong as a classroom. As a student myself, I think it is important to have a sense of power and to feel that we are accepted.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Proof: "N<span>ow I began to ponder not just how far this class could be pushed but how such I would change my basic beliefs toward an open classroom and self directed learning."</span></p><p><span><br></span></p><p><span>Explanation:  The teacher was begining to wonder if he should continue with the experiment, but there is a limit to how far you can push someone until they break. When your tought to think a certain way and perform tasks  a certain way, you tend to do every task and situation the way you are taught. Ones certain beliefs are different then others, but Mr. Jones lacks the thought of putting the students ideas and belief into the structure of his teaching.</span></p>]]></description>

The students in Mr. Jones’ class became more focused on how they answered question than the quality of the answer. The fact that kids outside of the class wants to join shows that everyone wants to be involved in something even thought sometimes they don't know what they are getting involved in.</p>]]></description>

Just like what Hitler told his people about the Jews. They were trying to tell the people they had authority over, how this would help themselves and others. Knowing this may mean they are a very well taught class or just completely brainwashed. When reading this i feel like it is wrong to minipulate somebody to do things on command. To me it feels like freedom is being taken away.</p>]]></description>
