coral is an organism that plays a crucial role in making habitats for other marine life. coral is made up of polyps, which are tiny coral creatures alike. Coral gives algae a habitat to grow and thrive by giving protection from sunlight, and shallow seas. Algae helps the coral by producing energy from photosynthesis, to improve their skeletons.
