The Mongols were the fourth group to attack the Abbasid Empire.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Zheng He was a chinese emperor and explorer who started and ended his voyages long before Christopher Columbus began to (approx 59 years before). His fleet was made up of 28,000 men and 300 ships. His included separate ships to carry horses and fresh water tanks as well. He led his armada through the South China Sea, Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, Red Sea, and along the east coast of Africa, yet the Chinese court burned all records of these happenings.</p><p><br/></p><p>AP theme: Cultural Developments and interactions</p>]]></description>

On that date, a coalition of Spanish forces and native Tlaxcalan warriors captured the Aztec emperor Cuauhtémoc and seized control of Tenochtitlan.          <description><![CDATA[<p>On May 25, 2020, 46 year old George Floyd was arrested in Minneapolis, Minnesota after a store employee alleged that he used a counterfeit $20 bill.</p><p>During the arrest, a Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on Floyd’s neck for approximately 9 minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and lying on the ground.</p><p>Floyd repeatedly stated that he could not breathe before becoming unresponsive and later had been pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.</p><p><br/></p><p>Theme: Cultural Development and Interactions</p><p> </p>]]></description>
