I will describe Anne Frank as a curious and a positive girl, she can't do much at all in the annex but she is always thinking positive that it will get better and she is also very curious and asks lots of questions. In the text in states "I couldn't go to a Dutch school anymore. I couldn't go to the movies, or ride in an automobile or even on a streetcar and a million other things. But somehow we children still managed to have fun".

I would describe Anne Frank as an enthusiastic, curious and playful girl. In paragraph 18 it says "interested in everything mercurial about her emotions." She is a girl who does not know everything that was happening in the world at that time.

In the annex they live a little poorly, they can't make a lot of noise, they can't clean the bathroom every time they come in, they have to clean it once a day. They only have 2 windows that face the street and only there do they realize what is happening in the outside world, they cannot go out for fear of the Nazi regime, the only one in the family who goes out is Otto Frank. The Van Daan family lives next to them, they visit them very often, in one way or another it is the only company they have.

Peter wants to throw his away because, "Something they branded you with. . . ? that they made you wear so they could spit on you?" this shows that peter hates it while Anne says that she can't throw it away because she says "I know. I know. But after all it is the star of David, isn't it?" this shows that they are different because she sees it as the symbol of there religion while Peter sees it as a way they spit on them

I would describe Anne Frank's personality as really enthusiastic and curious. I know this because the text states, "...quick in her movements, interested in everything, mercurial in her emotions." This explains how enthusiastic she is. Another piece of evidence states, "Anne gives a polite little curtsy as she shakes Mr. Vaan Daan's hand. Then she immediately starts off on a tour of investigation of her new home..."

Otto Frank, because he leads other people into the annex to go into hiding. He also brings stuff to the annex also. In the text it says "After six we can move about... we can talk and laugh and have supper and read and play games... just as we would at home." this shows how he knows whats going on and what to do.

Peter and Anna were talking about the star they have to wear. They both have two different view points but they both took the star of. In the text it states "You can't throw it away...? Something they branded you with..? That they made you wear so they could spit on you? I know.. But It is the star of David.." and "Maybe it's different for a girl." This shows how they both agree taking it of but Anna keeps it but peter throws it away and all of the evidence here is from page 111 and paragraphs 108-110. lucie

During scene 3 the relationship are developed between Mr. Van Daan and Peter. Mrs. van Daan is telling Peter that his dad is going to kill him because he didn't finish his lesson. "He hasn't finished his lessons, has he? His father'll kill him if he catches him in there with that cat and his work not done." This shows how the realtionship between Peter and his dad is not very good.

I chose peter and his dad: Peter and his dad don't get along well and what is part of it are their disagreements for example when Peter got in trouble by his dad over something small just by playing with his animal and not doing his work and instantly saying "Dad is going to kill me."
