Smelly liquid: targeting our audience


The work what we was asked to do today is to produce a 500 word, illustrated report of our smelly liquid and then upload it on our learning log. to do this we worked in groups to create a poster with a slogan and a perfume bottle package and other different important things what we need.
The slogan "your dream" emphasises with the background which is the waterfall this suggests that the 19-18 year olds will like this because of the writing is posh and girls normally write like this, also the dream suggests that the teenagers getting the perfume bottle will think that it is there dream.
our audience profile is a 16-19 year old teenage girl from middle class, her desires are physical beauty, spending money and shopping. and her tastes are middle, make up and fashion we picked this because she is an Essex girl and Essex girls normally likes going shopping and makeup and everything.
The perfume packaging is very good because it catches your eye and if it does it will make her want to spend her money on  it. The design matches the

its humorous and stereotypical because the ladies who are in this advert are very kind and you can trust them a lot. The music that is in the background reminds me of being at a pier or being at bingo and that's what the ladies in the picture like doing. Also there is a secret in this advert because they are mickey taking what they are filming and because you cant knit shreddies. The shots what are in this advert are close up, long shot of the old ladies making shreddies and the way they are acting such as they are acting all happy and they are all sewing the shreddies to act like they actually do sew them also there is another close up of the old lady pouring the milk in to the shreddies to show you what it looks like. This target audience applies to grandmas to buy for there grandaughters or there grandsons or any young people  because there are old people advertising it to make old people buy them.

McDonalds - Perfume
The man uses his wife or girlfriends perfume because he cant afford his own. The perfume is cheap and they are trying to get the audience to buy McDonalds as well by advertising how much the burgers  are. There is a close up of the burgers to show what they look like also there are many other close ups of the male putting the perfume on.And also showing what the perfume bottle looks like because it is most likely an expensive perfume. The burgers are only £1.09 to show what is cheaper and what is expensive. There is an over the shoulder shot which suggests that the film crew are showing what the actual advert is showing you. The target audience that this advert applies to is adults and children because the perfume is for women and the food is for children.

kfc - honey BBQ boneless bite
The man in the background who is speaking is trying to tell you to buy them, and the slogan is saying "you've got great taste". This makes you feel like you want to buy them and the taste makes you want more.  The camera shots such as the close up shot of the one breaking into the chicken, and the women/man is ripping it up to make it look like its nice. Firstly there is a close up of the KFC chicken with the person opening it up to show you what the chicken looks like and their trying to make you hungry by it, also there is another close up ofthem putting the BBQ sauce all over the chicken to make you want it more, There is basically only close up shots because in every food advert there is only close ups. This target audience applies to children because of the food and because children like chicken, also its for adults aswell because of some children can't really understand what the advert is saying.

In my advert I would change the topic what I have been doing because you cant really do a lot about it to advertise a milkshake because some people don't really like milkshake also the thing what I enjoyed is editing it because its not that hard once you get what your doing, also the other thing what I enjoyed is working with my new partner but she didn't help me, The target audience who this was aimed for is children and teenagers because kids and teenagers like them and because there Is a 13 year old person drinking the milkshake so it suggests that the kids like it.
