your title needs to be a mini thesis. This means that your thesis needs to be the basis of your title. Your title must also be gripping and exciting to the reader.
Ex. If your thesis is: Dogs should be allowed on airplanes as comfort animals; your title should be something like this: Comfort Dogs: Should they be allowed to fly? I used my thesis and a part of my title, this way your reader can better understand what they are reading and what your essay is about.

Paragraphs need to be filled with good content from your credible sources, filled with proper sentences. Your paragraphs are the meat and potatoes of your essay. If your paragraphs are weak, the reader may lose interest in your topic. Keep your paragraphs interesting, detailed, and powerful!

4: Credible Sources and Proper Citations

If your essay requires research, your research will need to be credible and reliable. Your sources help you prove that your thesis is true. Your essay is only as good as the sources you may use. If you do use a credible source, you will need to properly execute a proper citation in MLA formatting. If you use a source, you need to give the original author credit; if you fail to cite your sources this leads to plagiarism.
Link to Perdue Owl for MLA citations: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/

A thesis is a statement or theory you are trying to prove to your readers. It can be an opinion you may try to be persuading to your readers, it can be a fact you are trying to prove to be true, or it can be a cause you feel strongly about that you are trying to bring awareness too. However, a thesis can be any statement you are trying to prove to your readers.

A conclusion is the big bang! The conclusion sums up your whole essay, restating your thesis, and give the reader something to think about. Your conclusion shouldn't end with a question, it should end with a reader's thought.
