This sculpture is made of sing galvanized steel.
To this sculpture, I don't have much emotional through, but when I first look at it, I thought it was spectacular and made me feel open-minded. And when the wind blows, the statue will send out a song. This makes it form a contrast. It is clearly 10 feet tall, but it can send out a soft song when the wind blows. I like it very much.

This sculpture hopes to evoke memories and parts of themselves that every traveler inevitably leaves behind when they leave home for a new shore. When I see this sculpture, I feel quite same with the author, I think it illustrate a good theme. No matter where you are on this earth, don't forget your hometown and where you grew up. I like it very much.

What Material I use:Silvery wire, thin red wire.

Process：In the previous step, we secured all the wires, this time using thin Red Wire, we tied the five Silvery wires around the wrists, just like our hands.

What materials I use:silvery wire, tape.

Process:Using our hand as a template, we lay it out flat on a piece of paper, stroke the edges with a pencil, and then simply mark our knuckles. Then cut the wire to a suitable length with scissors and place it on the paper. Then fix it with tape.

What materials I use:Silvery wire, thin red wire, tape, newspaper, white PVA glue.

Process:After all the above steps were finished, we began to stabilize the newspaper in a deeper level to prepare for the following mod-ROC. We first cut the newspaper into appropriate size and shape, and coated the "hands" and the newspaper with white PVA glue, so that the standing will be very stable. Finally, the "hand" is completely wrapped.

When I was thinking about what I am going to do in the final design, at first I was very confused and didn't know what to do at all, so I started to have a wild idea. Then I saw some flowers in the corner of the room, and suddenly my idea came to me. I remembered the books I've watched before, I found that people really like to name women as a particular flower, for example, some people think you are a rose, you are a peony, you are the roadside small wildflowers. But the problem is that these flowers are marked on good and bad, and the most important is that not only men, even women in this environment of the pituitary, Start trying to become some specific "flower" in others eye.
But I think people can't be defined, and neither can women. I think the decision to become a flower should be its own, not someone else's, and it's up to women to decide if they want or not.
Therefore, on my design paper, I wrote the following sentence: "if you want, you can be a small yellow flower who lays beside the road, small but strong. You can also be a red rose, Flamboyant and enthusiastic. You can be lily, paisy, lotus... You are undefinable, you can be anything. " This is also where my name of my final design was inspired:.

What materials I use: Card board, pencil, paint, black marker.

First of all, I used a knife to cut a piece of 12cmX20cm cardboard as the bottom. I used a pencil to draw the outline of different types of flowers on the cardboard, and then I used paint to color the flowers. Then use thin wires of different colors gathered from different angle all around the cardboard to the middle and wound together. So why am I doing this?
To me, The different types of flower on the carboard is a connection to the topic, different colors of thin wire together, they are the roots of flowers, strong roots, I want to embody the female is beautiful, but at the same time, our beautiful not only stay on the surface, our beautiful is a strong support at the bottom of the behind.
The material colors I choose are all multicolor, in order to reflect that diversity, because beauty is originally diversified, it has no standards.

What materials I use: Thin wire, paper, paint, hot glue.

My work looks simple, but in fact it takes time for many insignificant parts, so I will come to the classroom to work not only in class, but also in the rest of the time when I was free, which saves me a lot of time, so that I can finish it successfully in the end. In terms of flower making, I first cut petals with scissors, paint different colors, then make petals Outlines with thin wire and fix them with hot glue, which can help me shape, which is also what I learned in the previous material testing section. Petals of different colors are also a connection to the topic, diversity and form of beauty.

What materials I use: Card board, pencil, black marker, paint, thin wire(different colours), paper, Hot glue.

Finally, I fixed the different parts together with hot glue, and presented the effect on the picture. In the production process, the previous testing part helped me a lot and made me learn a lot. But at the same time, I modified some parts many times in the production process.

For me, my work is not perfect, but I believe everyone who sees it can have their own perfect opinions and understanding.

Process/reflection:The name of my Completed Design is .
Some time ago, I went to see a movie with my parents, which was about war. I watched so many soldiers die on the big screen.I wonder, they were also human beings, and they must also have scared and fears, but just because they were fighting these wars, We can have peace and a good growth environment. Many of the soldiers who died were in their teens. The life we live now is only possible after our predecessors helped us fight all the wars.
Therefore, in my final work, I wrote the names of people who died in wars of different nationalities and ages with black markers on the wood board by contrast on both sides of my hands. You can see some white and red smears on the wood board, because nowadays people tend to forget these histories. Because of time pasing, but this is the feeling I want to create, under the cover of time, these history is being forgotten, but they should not be forgotten. So I use a handmake flowers to show my topic, < Remember me>, yes, remember the history, remember the ones who dead.
On the hand, I first daub the left side with white paint to make the surface smooth. Looking at most people's hands now, they are white and tender without any scars. But on the right, the skin of the hand is rough. Unlike the clean one on the left, the right hand has dirt and bruises. My work does not show the cruelty of war, but looking out your window now, the sky is blue, the buildings are tall, and people are dressed up with high spirits. But it was the people who built it for us with their own flesh and blood.

During my mod-roc production, my hands were a little rough, but that also helped me when presenting my final design.

Process：After all the preparatory work was done, we started to put the main character, Mod-roc. We first cut out the proper shape with scissors, then daubed some water on mod-roc, and placed it on the dried newspaper, repeatedly rubbing it as much as we could to make the surface smooth. Unfortunately, the mod-ROC of my fingers was rough, but I didn't know it at the time and it also helped me in my final design.

The materials that I use are:
-Clay
-Clay Tool
-Pot (for shaping)
-Blue Wire

We tested structures-soft and hard. Using our hand as the structure we made a stable shape from clay. Making sure its stood up well and did not fall over. we then used wire as the bone structure surround the hand.

The Process and Reflection: When I first started to build up the hand's shape, it fell down for several times. Some times the fingers are too thick, sometime its too big or too thin.
Then I learn from these mistakes, and build up a better one then the any other previous time.
The most difficult thing is that you need to make sure it don't change its shape when you are putting piecies, like fingers etc on.
But hopefully everything went well, I build up a hand shape that I am very satisfied.and also the surround wire.

If I got a chance to do it again I will try to build out more details, like the grain, make it more realistic.

Process:Next, we covered our palms with tape, and then wrapped our fingers with tape, but left the knuckles out, so that we could change the hand posture at will and finally find out what we wanted most. The outline of Wire exposed under the cover of tape is just like the bones of our own hands.

Michael and Darroch's works were inspire me in the beginning, and I even decided to make the same ones. But then I realized that women's development space cannot be "capped", just like the ones in the image. Meanwhile, I wanted to make a more united flower, not a group of flowers, Because that's how the diversity of a woman's future is reflected, and the possibilities of her development are extended beyond the limits of a glass envelope. So Michael and Darroch's work was inspire me at first, but then I changed my mind and went for an infinitely stretchable look with strong flower heels and multicolored united flowers.

Where our idea comes from?
Our final idea is step by step. We are divided into three groups first, all comes up with severe theme, then we choose the best 3 we all agree. Which were death, five senses and mask. After a discussion we finally decide our idea on death and five senses.

How we are going to present it?
We're going to use symbolic sculture to present our theme

What our final design will be look like?illustrate it
The theme of our final design will be a hollow broken shell egg, which is filled with body organs wrapped in a gift box. The outermost layer of the broken shell egg will be hung with a donation card of different countries and races.

What is our main theme?
"Death is not The End, its REBORN."

Why this is the best way to perform our theme?
Due to a lot of reasons, First of all, considering our actual situation, most of the materials we need to use are familiar to us. The work can be divided into three parts, enough for the whole team, and everyone can have a task. Secondly, a broken egg represents rebirth, and for us, death is sometimes not the end, but also the starting point, because you can live in another way.

How work are separated?
The work are separated reasonably, we decide to separate the whole team into 3 groups and will be change through different time period;
At first, Group 1: Max(group leader), Jason J and Henry. They are responsible for the outer egg, they will first build a small model as a first try, to see what the challenges they will face toward, and write down all the steps and the measurement of the whole egg.

Then, after the build of the small model, this group will move forward to material preparing, the group member will increase due to the work increase, they will be; Max(group leader), Jason J, Harry and Henry. They will be organizing all the materials they are going to use.

Afterward, they will start building the base.

After buiding the Base, they will build the basic structure of the egg, Max, Jason J, Harry and Henry, they will be seperating in to two small groups and max will seperate the work to each group so that they don't get "messy". Keep organizing and make the egg as stablize as possible...

Group 1's process reflection: During this week, group 1 worked very well, they coroporate well.

In the begining, they decide to first finishing the measurement of the size of the whole sculpture, making a little model to see what are the challenge they might face, and to prepare, and see, feel the process, then paln their steps...

After full planning, they will start to prepare for their materials, the materials seems easy but actually takes alot of time and effort, but the benefitial is when everything is ready, the future will be fluence.

Group 2's process: During this week, group 2 work well, they coroperate and grow together.
They first find the 6 card's model on the internet, then draw them on the paper and measure the size of the card, so that inorder all of the evidence we use are basic on our self.
In the begining Dan didn't work as well as the grils, but then he worked hard and developed.

And at last, they perfectly finish their goal of this week on time. very good work!

Group 3's process: Group 3 is the group you don't need to be worry about, they organized them self very well.

They go online to find the souces and images they want, draw on a piece of paper and measured the size and the colour.

The drawing was very nice and realistic.

At first, Group 2: Nicole(group leader), Dan and Harry. They will go online to find out different nationality's donation card, the work looks easy but it isn't, they take a lot of time finding out 6 of them.

Then, after finding out the 6 different cards and sit the website, they start to draw them on paper, the measurement and the material they plan to use. Now the group member are: Nicole(group leader) and Dan due to the work fit best to them.

Afterward, when finishing the draft copy of the card, they make sure the size and start making abd finishing the 7 cards.

At last, Nicole and Dan will go in to group 3 due to their atitude is more suitible in group 3, and Harry wil go to group 1 due to he is very suitible in this group.

During this week, group 1 made very huge process, they start building, exploring and learning the structure of our final sculpture, also welcome new group members.

A very unforgetable and which shock me is the way this group thinks and the knowledge they take from other subject and use in the sculpture. They found out that the structure is not very stable, so they change the design of the egg using triangle, triangle is a well notice stable structure, this did help alot. They take this idea from math.

They keep reflecting and looking forward to them self and make changes. This increase the quality of our sculpture.

The shaping of the organs take alot of time to made, from the beginning structure to the specific details...

Nicole, Shelly and Amy all did a good job at this point, they organs are all very realistic.

But after nicole and dan's joining their speed is keep adding up, and finished the structure of the organ heart, the next step will be colouring.

They also reflect on them self, checking the process G1 has, then found out that the size of their organ are a bit smaller compare to the sculpture G1 made. so they make their size bigger.

After the joining of Dan, this group will be on full speed in the future...

During this week, They began to make the surface of the egg, as well as perfecting the structure and construction of the egg. It was chaotic at first, but then they changed...

They collaborate well, max separated them into 2 small groups doing different jobs just like a little factury.

They keep changing the structure and construction of the egg so that it could be as well as it can, at the first, they could only do jobs that are not careful, but now they became carefully when doing their work…

During this week group 3 has worked well. well processed but there are some issue happens.

They did their own work, Nicole finished her Organ and started helping Dan with the structure of the leg bone, and they made some changes at the teacher's suggestion.

Shelly went on to finish the two outer halves of the brain.

Amy continues to complete the other half of her new org. Unfortunately, the heart that is drying up is cracked for uncontrollable reasons. Amy initially thought there would be no problem. Ms.bee helped us solve this problem and taught Amy a lesson. We are all growing and reflecting.

After two weeks of painstaking production, group 1 achieved remarkable results. They have a clear division of labor. They use their time wisely, put a lot of effort, not just in class, but whenever they have time to work. When CCA time I walk down the stairs saw abunch of G9B student gathering together going to the art room to do work.

They removed all the wires, let Harry and Henry help to prepare the organized wires, put them in order one by one, Jason and Max are in responsible of winding the wires.

As a captain, Max did a good job, communicate and corporate to the group.

In P3 you can clearly see the comparison for the beginning to now.

In conclusion, the boys have been changed, from the beginning to now, from un-organized and rough to now's orderly and organized. Nice work Max, Harry, Henry and Jason J !

At first, I didn't know the workload and difficulty of this group until I participated in helping them shape an org. I found that the difficulty and challenge are very large. It seems that a very simple shape actually takes a lot of time behind it to achieve this effect.

In this week, most of the shaping of Morgan was almost completed. In the drying process, Amy also repaired the cracked heart, Shelly also completed the carving of the brain and the eye ball, Dan and Nicole cooperated very well, and the shaping of bones and each layer were complete.

They listen to the teacher's suggestion and make changes, this is a show of welcoming other people's opinion.

At the same time, Shelly began to draw a sketch of the heart in her spare time because Shelly's organ was dry.

In conclusion, everybody have been did a great job and improved, both group work and independent working. They get more fluency when working.

During week 6, everybody have been doing a great job making good process, group 3 had started the heart painting and made a stage presentation done.

The girls come to do work after class very often, the process they got was calculate in days, so that everyday if I have time I will be their recording and taking pictures so that we don't loose any moment of process.

Making this heart's painting stage presentation is not easy, Shelly have been painting and drawing carefully, the colour putting on it had also been choosen carefully. Great job!

During week 6 group 1 had did good job and made process, they saperate their work resonly.

Group 1 had keep organizing the egg's wire structure and finally shows a stage presentation.

They have also been coming after class to do the work, nobody ask them but they came.

After several weeks of doing this wire structure, group 1 have improves alot comparing to the begining. Eventhough this work was with continuous, group 1 still use their time wisely. Great job!
