The rules in Jona's society are totaly unfair. They can't express what they want, they allways need to think before saying ; they can't have the amount of kids they want, it is mandatory to have 2 kids, a boy and a girl; At 12, all the children are going to start working, they don't have a choise; They also cant choose the job that they are going to have, who chooses that is the community. There is nothing fair in this society.

They got rid of the weather so that everyday was sunny, and so there were no naural disasters or inconviniances caused by the weather.

They got rid of the differences so that everybody would be equal ( maybe to try to end the prejudice) and to take away the will and originality of the people.

They got rid of the animals maybe because they didnt want to take care of the animals ( or assign someone to do that) and to prevent that people would develop fealings like love to their pets.
