Advantages of strips over strings, is that they are easier to find, you can shape the cross section, do not twist. Super easy setups allowing comparison with theory, direct superposition with screen, simulation with Python.

## Tensional twist force sensor
Iron out curvature of strips cut out of plastic bottle. Caution: can be dangerous. Turn on the iron until hot and turn it off, press it on the plastic strip sandwiched between paper tissues to avoid plastic transfer on the iron.

This way we have a straight strip whose deflection can be used to measure forces.

A twist might be a better option to measure forces. Imagine a strip clamp at both ends with a rigid stick in the middle.
