Liberty Park

As I've lived near Liberty Park for a while now, I've realized how much this park does for the Salt Lake community. They have a trail that goes around the entire park that's about 1.3 miles in diameter so I'll run around the park pretty often. There are always so many people walking their dogs and with their families. This park is the cornerstone for south Salt Lake in my opinion.

Tracy Aviary

The Tracy Aviary, alongside Liberty Park, creates a warm family environment. The Aviary brings in a lot of locals, as well as tourists, stopping by in south Salt Lake. This is where the majority of the families go who are around Liberty Park. It's a really cool place and I would recommend it to anyone close by!

The Park Cafe

The Park Cafe is a staple for South Salt Lake. It's right across the street from Liberty Park, I find that it's always packed there as well. They have an amazing brunch menu and probably one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. This is a huge asset for anyone living down here

Gospel Grace Church

Although I've never attended Gospel Grace Church, I really want to. It seems like a lot of people go here on Sunday, as the parking lot is completely full, along with the road next to it and even the parking lot at Liberty Park! It's important to me to attend church on Sunday, and one day, I really hope to attend this congregation.

I found this second part of the assignment much more fulfilling. The deficit assignment kind of made me hate the corner that I live on. But after doing this asset mapping, I can clearly see how awesome the neighborhood that I live in is. I'm super lucky to have all of these cool places and restaurants at my disposal. I hope to take more advantage of these places because I likely won't live here forever. I would encourage anyone to visit all of these places!
