Our experiences over the past year have thrown some of the conclusions into question, I believe, particularly about the effectiveness of on-line instruction vs. face-to-face. The key word is "motivation," in my opinion. I have some great relationships with on-line students, some of whom join me virtually every day. Others never/rarely join the meetings but do all the work and do it well. Others do very little/nothing!</div>]]></description>

If you look at article one for the characteristics of a successful online learner, that will not apply to all students.
