True service for others happens when you do something without asking for anything in return, but to do something out of the goodness in our hearts. Specially as a Filipino, it should be second nature for me to extend my help to my fellow kababayan. We are known for our hospitality to not only to our private guests but to strangers (especially foreigners). I have also experienced the receiving end of getting help from strangers. And even if I could possibly survive without the help, I was able to connect to other people by helping and being helped.
