students consider an important moment in their life so far e.g. moving house, a birthday, changing school, holiday experience, taking driving lessons etc...  

They should consider where this happened, who they were with and how they felt.  

Next they share their experience with their classmates, first on their tables/in pairs, then moving around the class.  

Change over time called out and useful language could be boarded e.g. when I was ...  I was not alone my ... I felt excited/anxious/motivated/energised because ...

The aim is to meet and chat with fellow classmates, review past simple, relax a little and practice informal speaking skills.
