Some of them are among the 100 World's Worst Invasive Alien Species: Aedes albopictus, Myocastor coypus, Sciurus carolinensis, Anoplophora glabripennis, Fallopia japonica, Arundo donax, Trachemys scripta elegans and Silurus glanis.
Other invasive alien species: Procambarus clarkii, Trachycarpus fortunei, Heracleum mantegazzianum, Vespa velutina and Ailanthus altissima.

The two areas have characters in common such as the presence of mountain ranges and some kind of vegetation (for example oak forests). Of course, endemic species are very different! Unfortunately I read with regret that the Myocastor coypus is widespread  in both regions and causes significant demage. The work done by Magdalene is original and clear! The only advice I can give is to put the scientific names of the species in italics.
