This is my second time teaching this course and I'm looking forward to teaching it! I'm an epidemiologist by training so I'm passionate about research methods. We'll spend a lot of time talking about the basics of observational methods as well as some of the things to think about when setting up the study and analyzing the data. My research areas are all over the place from alcohol use disorder to obesity to lung diseases to diversifying the biomedical research workforce. When I'm not working, I'm chasing around my 2 and 3 year old kids.
