The Ten Commandments are a list of moral christian principles that appeared in Exodus in addition to Deuteronomy. It was revealed to society by Moses when leading the Christians to the promise land. The Sabbath day is a day of rest and honor to the lord where no work shall be done. Unlike Animal Farm, Animal Farm's 7 commandments were ironic due to the fact that we knew no animal could ever follow those rules. In contrary to that the 10 commandments are a list of statements that is impossible to fully  complete by one person.
