Hi I'm Nick from the Philippines. It was a worth it opportunity to join in this global experience. It made me realize many things in my journey. It create a unforgettable experience in our life. It made us happy to connect again to other people. Through the sharing, it collide us in a world of a real thing that can probably make a goals. We also want to spread the #GlobalGoals that could help people all over the world. Thank you very much for this opportunity. First , all my gratitude goes to the afs community to be able to come with the Special Edition of GCC during this hard time so that or focus still gets directed to intercultural learning and the greater good. I learnt that i am capable to understand and work for this cultural understanding not just for myself but others too. I learnt that I'm a good listener too! I almost forgot what a diverse and gorgeous community of exchange students I belong too and how similar our experiences are, that is something I rediscovered in this journey . My major takeaway will definitely be the different conflicts styles, now because of it a lot of things make sense to me.

This is my reflection on GCC program (in spanish because my english is terrible 🤣).

Hi I'M poom from Thailand and I did the exchange year in Italy. first thing that I feel this GCC is how they care their exchange student many reason are coming to me to make sure to do this project. All of thing GCC give to me is how to be a complete exchange student not only GCC , this is the AFS family. This family is a huge family they give many experiences to one guy they give many advice that to be easier in the exchange year.Everyone in my story are become my best memories thank you and see you as possible AfS ;)

Hello I am Clara and i am from Spain and I was in Norway. In this GCC program I have learned about myself that I have a lot of empathie with understanding other cultures and other people. I have also learned about others that we are all diferent and the diferences between us is what makes us better persons. :) A key that I bring home is that always do what you want to do and do not get influencet by others, be always positive!

Hi everyone, I am María, from Spain, and spent my exchange year in Hungary.

1. I learnt about myself that there is still so much to learn in order to become an effective intercultural communicator. There are so many experiences that are left for me to do so that I can keep learning and growing.

2.I learnt about others that what it is normal for me is not supposed to be the standard, people have always a different take or view on things according to the culture they have grown in.

3. My key takeaway for everyone would be that the end of our exchange was only the beginning of our multicultural journey, through this course/AFS volunteering/future exchange programs like Erasmus idk our adventure around the world will always continue.
